If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The park is well kept, and it’s nice to have the option to explore off road trails nearby. Really enjoyed our stay.
Traveling with your dog or cat? Our Goodwater sites welcome pets so your whole family can relax together.

Lots of RV parks turn pets away or tack on fees that add up fast. We don't do that here. You're visiting Talladega Speedway, Cheaha State Park, or driving US-231? You don't need to board your dog or leave your cat with a neighbor. Our sites give pets room to stretch their legs on our nature trails. Our community fire pit is a nice spot to unwind with your pup after a long drive. Pet friendly travel's grown a lot in the past decade.[1] More owners want places that welcome their animals. We get calls every race weekend from folks asking if their dog can come along. The answer is always yes.
Heading to Talladega with your dog in the rig? You'll have a quiet site to come back to after the race.
Pet owners heading into Talladega National Forest use our trails to warm up or cool down with their dogs.
Families visiting Lake Martin or Wind Creek Park like having a pet friendly base to return to each evening.
Some pet owners stay with us for weeks at a time, enjoying our seasonal discounted monthly rates.
Off-road and military vehicle groups often bring working dogs along. Our large sites give both room to park and rest.
New to RVing with a pet? We'll walk you through site setup so your animal settles in quick.
Pets get stressed when they're cooped up after a long drive. Our trails and fire pit area give them space to settle down fast. We've watched plenty of nervous dogs relax within an hour of arriving. That matters when you're here for a few nights or a whole season.
Call now and we'll get your pet friendly site ready before you arrive. Spots fill fast on Talladega race weekends.
Getting settled in with your pet takes just a few simple steps.
Call the park and tell us about your pet and your RV size. We'll match you to a small, medium, large, or pull-through site that fits.
Arrive any time, day or night, since we're open 24 hours. Hook up to full electric, water, and sewer right at your site.
Walk your pet on our nature trails or relax by the community fire pit. You're minutes from the forest, the speedway, and Lake Martin.
We don't charge extra for pets, so your rate depends on site size and length of stay. A pull-through site for a weekend race trip costs less than a monthly stay with full utilities included. Many pet friendly campgrounds nationwide add on pet fees, but we'd rather keep things simple for our Services here. We also offer seasonal discounted monthly rates that include utilities. This helps if you're planning a longer visit near Cheaha State Park or Lake Martin.

The military vehicle rally was a highlight of our trip! Real Nice and Easy RV Park made it easy to connect with fellow enthusiasts while also enjoying the lovely surroundings.
Just spent a great weekend here with friends. The park is accommodating and close to a lot of fun activities, making it a perfect spot for a group getaway.
We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming this park is. The sites are spacious, and the community here is friendly. Ideal for both relaxation and adventure.
What a hidden gem! Real Nice and Easy RV Park is conveniently located near Talladega Speedway, making it an ideal spot for race fans. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere after the races.
Love This Place!! My wife found the park online and when we checked it out, we knew this would be home. Quiet country living, underground utilities and walking trails makes my wife extremely happy. Less than 10 minutes to local stores and only 20 minutes to Alex City. We're so happy to call this place Home.
Love this Park. It has several acres for nature walks and all sites have water, power and sewage hook ups and for a reasonable price per night as well. Looking forward to our next stay there.
Real clean, organized, secluded, and laid back
Very good experience camping here. Large lots. Easy to park even the largest camper. Nice walking trails. Very good price.
Here are answers to what travelers usually ask us about bringing pets along.
No, we don't charge any extra fee for pets. Your site rate stays the same whether you bring a dog, a cat, or both. We've kept it this way since we opened because pets are part of the family.
You can stay as short as one night or as long as a full season. Many pet owners choose our monthly rates for extended visits. Those rates include utilities, which helps if you're staying through race season or summer lake trips.
Yes, our nature trails run right on the property. They have varying terrain, so there's a flat path for older dogs and a bit more challenge for active ones. Most guests find it's enough to tire a dog out before bedtime.
Our quiet county road setting tends to be calmer than busier campgrounds near Lake Mitchell or Lake Jordan. Fewer crowds mean less stress for anxious pets. We also don't deal with heavy lake traffic noise here in Goodwater.
That's no problem since we're open 24 hours. Race weekend traffic often means late arrivals, and we plan for that. Just call ahead so your site is ready when you pull in.
Fire ants are common in cleared areas around central Alabama, so we watch our graded pads closely. Mosquitoes can show up seasonally too, especially near shaded or wooded spots. We recommend basic flea and tick prevention before your trip.
No, we welcome pets of all breeds and sizes. We just ask that pets stay leashed around the property out of respect for other guests. Most of our visitors are pet owners themselves, so the atmosphere is relaxed.
