Why Stay Long

When Long Term Parking Makes Sense in Goodwater

Some folks come for a season, a weekend. We've hosted travelers with nearby jobs. We've also hosted snowbirds waiting out winter. Families visiting relatives in small homes have stayed here too, since their RVs need hookups. Long term parking in a trailer park gives you stability. You don't have to give up the road life.[1] Our 25 sites sit on a quiet county road. We're near Talladega National Forest. You get peace and quiet without being far from anything. Summers here get hot and humid, so every site has full hookups with real electrical capacity for your AC. Don't wait until a weekend trip turns into a month before you ask about our monthly rates.

Love This Place!! My wife found the park online and when we checked it out, we knew this would be home. Quiet country living, underground utilities and walking trails makes my wife extremely happy. Less than 10 minutes to local stores and only 20 minutes to Alex City. We're so happy to call this place Home.

Common Questions

Long Term RV Parking Questions

Here are answers to what guests ask us most about staying long term.

  • How much does long term RV parking cost?

Monthly rates typically run $350 to $650 depending on site size and hookups. Seasonal discounts can lower that further. We include utilities in most monthly rates, so you won't get a surprise power bill.

  • How long can I stay at the park?

You can stay as long as you need, from one month to several. Some of our guests stay through a whole race season or winter. Just let us know your plans so we can hold your site.

  • Should I book ahead or just show up?

Booking ahead is always smarter, especially near Talladega race weekends. Sites fill up fast during race dates and lake season. A quick call to the park locks in your spot.

  • How is this different from a short term stay?

Long term parking gets you a lower monthly rate instead of a nightly fee. You also get priority on the same site if you want to stay put. It's a better deal if you're here for weeks or more.

  • How fast can I get a long term site set up?

Most guests are hooked up the same day they arrive. Just call ahead so we know your rig size and arrival time. We'll have your site ready and waiting.

  • What signs mean I need a long term site instead of nightly stays?

If you're staying more than two weeks, long term rates save you real money. Working nearby, visiting family for a season, or waiting out winter are all good reasons. Ask us and we'll help you figure out the best rate.

  • Are pets allowed for long term guests?

Yes, we're pet friendly for both short and long stays. We have a community fire pit and nature trails your dog will love. Just keep pets on a leash around the park.
